The Spring Valley School was built in 1903 to serve the familes in and
around the Tipton Ford Area in Newton County.
I believe classes were held
there through 1965.
In later years, the building was used for hay storage.
Finally, the building burned down in 2000. It was located
adjacent to the Spring Valley Cemetery.
