There are workshops and special monthly programs the second Monday of each month. Limited individual research assistance (self addressed stamped envelope required) is available to members. The Corresponding Secretary or an assistant will do limited research in their resources for a fee of $7.00 per hour payable to the Genealogy Friends plus copy costs and postage. Zerox copies are 10 cents per page. When requesting research, please include a pedigree chart and/or family group sheet giving as much information as possible in order to aid their search. Additionally, you can contact them by e-mail at mailto:Genealogy@neosho.lib.mo.us

A partial list of Newton County resources is given below. Please indicate the items you would like checked. The cost of copies and postage will be billed to you. However, a deposit of $10.00 (US funds, check or money order) is requested before beginning the search - any additional costs would be billed at the time your copies and information is sent to you.
