Eligh Garrett Davis was the son of Steven Elbert "Elzy" Davis and Rhoda Orlena West.
He was born 5/9/1905 in Ritchey, Newton, Mo. He died on 4/13/1951 in Somerton, Yuma, Arizona.
He was married to Florence Banks and the father of two children. 1. Eldon Elbert and 2. Shelda LaVay Davis.
He was one of five children.

3. Carrie Juanita :Neta"Davis who married Ralph Franklin Hull b 1/10/1916 Shoal Creek, Barry, Mo. d. 3/9/1997 Republic, Newton, Mo. Neta was a RN and a pianist for two churches in Monett, Mo.

4. Lewis Kelly Davis who married Wilma Seifert. b. 1/23/1913; d. 4/26/1945 during the War on Luzon, Philippines.

5. Mary Lucinda Davis who married Elzia "Lee" Ratliff b. 10/19/1913 Ritchey, Newton, Mo. d. 10/31/1946 Purdy, Barry, Mo.
